Travis Tarrant
Clinical Intern

Hi everyone! I’m a master’s level Intern pursuing my degree in Clinical Mental Health at the University of Phoenix. I’m passionate about working with children, teens, and their families to create meaningful changes in their lives. A little about me: I’m originally from Illinois but I lived the majority of my life in Denver, Colorado. I moved to Tennessee in 2017 to be closer to my family. I graduated from Excelsior in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science. During my undergraduate studies, I enjoyed my psychology courses, which ultimately led me to pursue a career as a counselor. I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could support individuals and families in navigating life’s challenges, fostering resilience, and building stronger connections. A few of my hobbies consist of reading, spending time with my family and friends, playing basketball, and learning new things. As an intern, I strive to create a supportive, culturally sensitive, and affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Every individual’s story is unique, and my goal is to walk alongside my clients as they explore their emotions, strengthen relationships, and work toward personal growth. I am excited to be part of this journey and to help my clients reach their goals.
I see clients in person at the Nashville and Smyrna offices.
