Sydney Metz, M.Ed., is a counselor and graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Human Development Counseling program, with concentrations in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. She has experience providing individual and group counseling to children, adolescents, and families in both school and outpatient settings, supporting concerns related to anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, social challenges, and trauma.
Sydney utilizes a warm, collaborative approach and draws from person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed, and attachment-based frameworks. She is passionate about fostering social-emotional development in young children and partnering with families to support healthy relationships, resilience, and overall well-being. Sydney is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children and families feel understood, empowered, and equipped to thrive.
