Lorena Moreno, LMSW

Lorena Moreno is a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison and Licensed Master Social Worker. Lorena earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from California Baptist University and Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield in 2018. Lorena came to Knoxville in 2020 after starting her career in mental health in Bakersfield, CA. Lorena has always had a passion to work with children and has years of experience working in the school setting and foster care. Lorena utilizes approaches such as CBT, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to address clients’ needs and help meet their goals. Lorena sees children and adolescents at her assigned school, via tele-health, and in person at the Jefferson City office.
