Danae Dalbey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Channel Islands, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lipscomb University, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. She is a member of Lipscomb University’s Iota Delta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI), the international honor society for counseling professionals.
Danae practices from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, creating space for clients to feel, process their experiences, and practice self-compassion. She is certified in Psychological First Aid (PFA) and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Danae believes therapy is a collaborative process and tailors her approach to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals.
