Melanie Anes is originally from New York, but has lived in the Nashville area since 2016. She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. Melanie has experience working with adolescents and children using play and standard talk therapy. She is passionate about fostering a welcoming and safe environment for her clients. Melanie utilizes both play and expressive arts to assist clients in processing things that may be challenging to verbalize initially. She works from a person-centered perspective, but also pulls from other modalities dependent on the client’s specific needs. Melanie sees clients in person at the Nashville office and via telehealth.
