Michaela Meeter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art from California Baptist University. After some time working in education, she graduated from Edinboro University- Pennsylvania with a Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy. Michaela began in the mental health field as a counselor for youth in foster care. She is passionate about pursuing practice from a strengths-based perspective and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach in order to support clients in building personal skills for growth and healthy living. Michaela enjoys spending her free time making art, kayaking, hiking, and traveling to new places. Michaela sees clients ages 5+ in person and via tele-health at the Nashville office.
