About Me

Dustin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Entrepreneurship from
Carson-Newman University. He obtained his Master’s in Science, Clinical Mental Health
Counseling in 2021 from Carson-Newman University. He has experience working with
adolescents and adults in residential and outpatient mental health, and substance use
facilities. Dustin most often uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and
Acceptance Commitment Therapy with clients. He has a passion for working with
individuals who are seeking inspiration and who are searching for their path in life.
Dustin sees his path as a therapist as someone who can offer a space for clients that is
safe, non-judgmental, and accepting of all no matter what their journey entails. When
Dustin is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family kayaking,
paddle boarding, and hiking. “The meaning of my life is to help others discover the
meaning of theirs.”-Viktor Frankl
